2WIN Achieves TAPA TSR Level 2 Certification

On October 12th 2012, Emons Cargo B.V. successfully passed the transport security audit for the TAPA TSR Level 2 certificate. The TAPA audit was performed by Germanischer Lloyd of Germany. During the audit a wide range of aspects concerning security were subject to TSR level 2 audit and all requirements for secure transport have been covered. The entire fleet of 2WIN double deck trailers is equipped with the required security features and meet the TAPA standard.

Emons has been the first carrier to be compliant with the TSR level 3 for many years and will now receive the TAPA TSR certificate for an even higher lever of security (level 2).

Emons Cargo has received the new TAPA TSR Level 2 certificate from Luc van Herck (Director of TAPA EMEA, Responsible for Security Standards) during the Regional TAPA conference at the Transport Security Expo 2012 in London. This certification demonstrates the continuous improvement and ability of Emons Cargo to handle high value & theft sensitive products in combination with the optimized double deck transport concept 2WIN.

About TAPA

TAPA has developed the Transport Security Requirement Standard (TSR) which is a certification for “High Value Theft Targeted” transportation.
