The future of high-volume transport will not be shaped by simply adding more trucks, trailers or drivers. The demands on European logistics are changing too quickly for that. Customers expect more flexibility, stronger operational efficiency and solutions that fit the reality of tomorrow’s increasingly cost-driven supply chains.
That is exactly where the partnership between Royal Burgers and the Emons Group begins.
Together, Royal Burgers and Emons are developing the Next Generation 2WIN: a step forward in high-volume double deck transport for pallets with a maximum height of 180 cm. This unique partnership combines advanced trailer technology with real operational knowledge from daily transport operations and the ambition to Deliver More.
What makes this collaboration different is the combination of two worlds that truly need each other. Royal Burgers brings deep technical expertise in trailer development, engineering and manufacturing. Emons brings decades of operational experience from daily 2WIN practice, customer requirements, driver operations and high-volume transport flows.
Together, this creates a strong foundation for innovation that is not only technically advanced, but also designed around the practical challenges of real transport operations.
The Next Generation 2WIN is being developed with that exact purpose. It keeps the strength of proven 2WIN experience, while looking ahead to the changing needs of the market: more flexibility, stronger operational efficiency and a solution built around the needs of tomorrow’s supply chains.
At the same time, the new concept is designed to improve the way 2WIN integrates into daily warehouse operations. With a seamless dock connection, faster loading and unloading, trained 2WIN drivers and a controlled way of working, the Next Generation 2WIN supports customer processes, QHES requirements and the operational reality at the dock.
The fully adjustable floor also creates more opportunities to carry 26 UK pallets or 33 Euro pallets up to 250 cm in height, helping reduce empty kilometres. By making better use of suitable return flows, the Next Generation 2WIN helps strengthen the network behind the high-volume 2WIN concept while improving efficiency and reducing unnecessary transport movements.
For Emons, this connects directly to the brand promise: Deliver More.
Deliver More is not only about moving more freight. It is about creating smarter, more efficient and more future-focused transport solutions. It is about understanding what customers need in daily operations and turning that knowledge into better service, better execution and stronger partnerships.
For Royal Burgers, the partnership reflects the power of engineering innovation when it is connected directly to real operational input. Trailer technology becomes stronger when it is developed together with the people who work with it every day.
That is why this is more than a partnership. It is where innovation, service and operational excellence come together. The Next Generation 2WIN is coming soon.
